The City of Farmers Branch prides itself on providing the best City services to our residents. Mainintaing such high standards for our City allows Farmers Branch to be known for our majestic trees and parks, as well as our City services such as neighborhood beautification, free garbage collection, and Police and Fire services.

	As curb appeal is always an important consideration for any community, Code Enforcement remains an ongoing priority in Farmers Branch. Recent technological enhancements, personnel expansion, and creative scheduling are enabling Code Enforcement Officers to better watch over the City's appearance. On-board computers are now able to speed information to and from Code Enforcement Officers in the field, better enabling the flow of notices and follow-ups on code violations in an effort to enhance the ultimate goal of compliance. Additional personnel and scheduling shifts in the evening and on weekends are also working to bolster the Code Enforcement effort.
	In late 2007, the Farmers Branch Fire Department added Fire Station No. 3 and the Bob Phelps Fire Administration Building. The new state-of-the-art facility is a true testament to the City's dedication to community safety as well as the proactive progression within Farmers Branch.
	In the last year, the Farmers Branch Police Department has made many additions to their regime in order to assure safety within the City. With the addition of more officers, Citizens on Patrol, and a state-of-the-art safety camera, Farmers Branch residents can rest easy knowing that the Police Department is dedicated to the safety and quality of life for all Farmers Branch residents.
